Far from unique? Well, that's not really correct.

Obsolete technology? Obsolete in what respect? On a clean or renewable energy platform? Sure it is, but it's not really about that, is it.

Surely people realise that we are firmly attached to the nipple of fossil fuels for what is probably our lifetime at the very least.

This is where companies such as ESI and CFU make a "better" use of the existing energy reserves we have. CFU with gas, and ESI with brown coal.

It is about reducing the impact of using fossil fuels that is the medium term reality. This is what ESI and CFU does.

The whole thought of thermal, sun and other renewable energies are quite simply pie in the sky stuff whilst we struggle (can't) overcome the physics of transportation.

    1. Because of nature of electricity and losing almost 80% of production to the grid.

    2. Our environmental "footprints" take far more into account that the simple CO2 calculations.

Anything that can significantly reduce or make more efficient our current process with our current infrastructure is a "winner".

Don't forget that being obsolete on paper is a long long way from being obsolete in reality and real terms.

Just my 15 cents worth (ESI target price in the next week ;) )
