Does anyone keep an occasional look at the Trade Count?

I look at it to get an idea of the average parcels selling...buying.

I think it usually is about $2000 per trade

but looking at todays trading approx 400,000 and 111 trades
which is more like $4,000 parcels averaging the turnover..

sooooo if theres more buyers...the sellers must be willing to let go of bigger parcels....why?

its sort of a momentum counter...
less momentum ...smaller parcels?
There could be some months worth of pent up momentum to dispense with.

I suppose chartists deal with it someway...
