I had $US250m capital on the
plant etc, but that's a wild guess..
could be $300m+ I'm hearing...
at $US250 NPV still very nice,
not quite prominent hill though!
Either way, my NPV on Prominent Hill
took a battering with the A$780m I plugged in.
One can only hope they sell some copper
above $2lb in the early years. That said,
they could spend $1bn and still make
money (a little)...1.2%Cu head grade!
If anyone else has an estimate, lets hear it.
Unlike Prominent Hill, GCR don't need a
rail line, road, village, power etc to the same
extent (no 100m cover either!...thats $150m
prestrip cost!)
