An 18 month moratorium on the project after they have been issued the mining license. That's a massive setback, even if they do get to eventually proceed. The fishing industry will fight to maintain a ban I bet.
I heartily congratulate Cliff Lawrenson for negotiating the deal that not only got us out of an untenable partnership in NMP and allowed us to focus on the one major project at Wonarah, but now has even greater significance with this latest development.
So glad MAK isn't 85% owner of the Sandpiper project. Our MD is worth every cent of his salary. Which he puts a lot back in buying shares on market, demonstrating his belief in Wonarah and the IHP.
