I guess it depends on who you talk to as to who has the "dominant land position" in the Utica - ie who holds it, how big it is, where it is located and how much is productive...
MPO seems to think it has the largest holding. Others seem to think they/others have more land, the best locations or the most productive land.
Who's to know at this stage re relative productivity, but I would have thought gross and net acreage would be 2 figures that should be fairly easy to calculate for the various companies working in the area.
