On the 15% rule...
Extract (excuse the pun) from the KAH RNS (Regulatory News Service) announcement of 22/9/08:
"...Kalahari Minerals plc, the AIM listed mining exploration group with a portfolio of copper, base metal and uranium interests in Namibia, announces that Rio Tinto International Holdings Australia Pty Ltd ('Rio Tinto') has increased its stake in ASX listed Extract Resources Limited..."
It's clearly the Australian arm of RIO doing the buying, so to my mind (which can err) the 15% rule does not apply(?).
