Keep in mind that the ads aren't aimed at you - or the way you ('we' - as older people) view media.
They appear to be creating a wide range of short clips that are very different from each other. All they need is for one of them to be weird enough / interesting enough to 'go viral' or get shared / enough hits and its job done. Its often hard with this kind of audience to pick what that viral plug will be, I think they've covered their bases well, and it shows they're in tune with their audience ... and that audience is not us.
The Cadbury 'ad' you posted in a previous post shows your (our) age, kids don't consume like that any more - a 3 minute video, its about 2:45 too long for a hype vid.
