that, was American as well - GE
We often get away with poor design for a long time, often because humans don’t make a mistake - but when they do
boom.
Of course, I haven’t seen speculation about it, but this might not be a mistake, it could be deliberate.
We’ll have to wait and see.
But I’ll tell you one thing for sure -
if this is a human error or similar with the flaps etc - they’ll be immediately looking for an engineering solution to prevent it from happening in the future.
When they get a solution- it means that it was an engineering oversight in the first place.
