Yes no system is completely fail safe or without it’s own problems. I found that out with my new vehicle last weekend. It will not let me change lanes while something is in my blind spot and the I had the need to avoid something directly in front of me and couldn’t as there was a vehicle in my blind spot. I could see the vehicle in my side mirror and I had room to move in front of it but the vehicle overrode my decision as a driver causing me to collide with debris on the road. The sensors also think overhead lights in a tunnel are cars trying to pass me.
