    yep. I worked briefly with an automotive engineer that did vehicle testing. The proportion of people who turn off their lane assist for precisely this reason is staggering. One country that shall be nameless was working on drowsiness systems but the premise on which they were working was flawed and the testing regime would face put drivers at risk (we refused to do it in the end). See engineers are human - and far too many of them don’t actually understand human behaviour or research related to human behaviour
