    There were two important things which I picked up in the presentation released today.

    Quote;
    "Sampling proves Wilgerup hematite will not stimulate phytoplankton.
    Sampling endorsed by the EPA was undertaken to test whether or not the addition of Wilgerup hematite would stimulate phytoplankton. That testing proved that the addition of hematite in amounts up to ten times the worst case dust losses as determined by CSIRO concluded that there was:
    ZERO change in phytoplankton number or growth as a result of dosing with either Wilgerup hematite ore or soluble iron."

    I recall that the EPA was the only Govt department which had any reservations about the Port Lincoln Wharf. The EPA recommended phytoplankton tests to be conducted at Flinders University. The tests are back and the results look good for Centrex. We may see the first shipment of hematite in 12 months.

    The Development Assessment Commision will meet with the Minister tomorrow and advise their recommendation about the Port Lincoln Wharf.

    The other interesting announcement was ;

    "$40,000,000 joint venture with Baotou Iron & Steel Co., Ltd (“Baotou”) over EL3610 covering the Bungalow magnetite deposit is close to fruition."

    This deal has been under negotiation for ages. But it now looks like another JV is about to happen.
