IGO will probably not bid for Poseidon as it owns three 2nd hand nickel deposits, whereas SIR on the other hand is a world-class nickel deposit.
If you have a maserati and piles of cash you probably wouldn't go out and buy a VW Golf, you would probably go out and buy a bugatti veyron.
I would hope Poseidon would enter the Fraser Range Province and acquire or JV into one of the dozen spec plays down there. Another option would be to acquire a fourth second hand nickel project such as honeywell or any of the other turn of the century nickel discoveries. However I am pretty sure they have their hands full with their three existing projects.
