Whilst many shareholders might be happy that CSR looks like it has sold part of its business, it is yet another example of key Australian assets being owned to overseas interest. I suspect this business will perform very well for its new owners, unfortunately CSR management over a long period of time have made some very poor decisions & failed to build shareholder wealth. Many long suffering shareholders must be very disappointed with CSR management of their wealth over a long period. It will be interesting to see how the new lean mean CSR operates going forward. Current management now have no excuses for not performing in the future.

PS If management can't guarantee performance then they should simply return excess capital from sale to shareholders to make better decisions with funds.
