What sort of range has your Hilux got on sand ?
Anyway , EVs won't be replacing Hilux's on Fraser anytime soon . We will need the next development in battery tech to get to that point . Just like gettting a decent range out of a sportsbike or a heavy vehicle .
What will be interesting is when you trade in the lowlux how many electric commuters will be on the road in Australia . Even in four short years I expect there will be lots of change .
Speaking of electric 4wds , here's an interesting site . Crazy expensive conversions but it's interesting to see what they're getting out of current battery technology .
