There is no constitutional rule that states how the 12 senators elected in a DD are divided into 3 and 6 year terms, it is a matter of convention. It is up to the senate to determine how, and general opinion is that it will be based on order of finish. LNP and Labor to me look like taking all of the first 6 spots but it's not available atm.

Greens are at a crossroad - they need to break out from winning one senate seat per election and threatening only in inner suburban Melbourne - they appear not to be able to.

The Greens are Destroyers of Australia. Cost us Taxpayers Millions in travelling expenses, and headaches with their Stupidity. The Greens are worthless, but cost us heaps, Disband the Greens.
