I'm sorry to hear those people are losing their jobs, but the sackings are needed to save the company. It's not the only thing needed obviously but it's one of the things management need to do in this situation to steady the ship.They will lose some valuable staff and some less productive staff but it can't be helped.
To get re-rated they need to generate some future work and reduce costs. Then they might get investors to move back in.
