Indeed, quite unbeleivable, it seams that everything that can go wrong does with this project.
Hard to blame Origin for the "Safe Concordia" braking down though. They might consider changing the name of that boat...
Appointing Clough to build the Bass Gas project was a big big mistake, which Origin has to take responsibility for. Clough will come in with the cheapest bid on tenders but they are a dodgy oufit... a disgrace really.
It looks like Casino will come on stream before Bass gas, maybe even Cliff Head. Lets hope that Clough is not involved in any other AWE projects....
Given court cases and bad blood I would not think so. Hope AWE and ORG seek full damage from Clough for one year production delay and send Clough to the wall. That would be a good thing for the Australian oil industry.
