My point is if you buy land here be prepared and don't expect the taxpayer to relocate you.

correct . The gold and sunny coasts are certainly at risk, particularly the canal homes which happen to be in the top tiers of market values.

So many homes in those areas are only a meter or two above sea level. A decent cyclone and tidal surge would be catastrophic and not just limited to those 2 areas
