There is a large village that was built on commonwealth land on Pearce air base just north of Perth.
Afaik it was never used.

Beyond me why the state and federal governments don't cooperate and utilise it for short term homeless etc.

Hundreds of millions spent building it and now it's gathering cobwebs.

Meanwhile people live on the street, in cars etc.

Australians are being let down by their governments.
