I could not do the work without did or my current activities without that understanding but we can not meet every shade of black, white and grey and all in between and we are doomed if we think individuals wants and desires override society. in my view we have created a society where hedonism, self gratification and fear individual needs have overridden all sense. it is perfectly possible to integrate and diverse individuals into a common purpose and shared experience /obligations In the project I am currently involved in I am working with an amazing array of capabilities on a goal which should highlight what is possible when diverse communities come together. I have to find ways of focusing individual skills and capabilities in ways that suit the project, to provide boundaries so we don’t effort that might interesting but does not serve the project well, effort that is productive and efficient, where the participants feel reinforced and valued but contribute properly i have people with severe learning/performance challenges, those with dementia, highly skilled and creative people, ordinary every day people happy to contribute. I have people prepared to take things on and others who will follow. They are all able to get corralled for common good - I including those who have been told they are disabled (many of whom are actually simply frightened or dumbed down or pigeon holed into incompetence. ). Have people who have been allowed to run wild because they have been diagnosed with ADHD and those who just want a bit of fun I’ve seen carers over caring to the point of making people incompetent, over indulging people and holding people back. it makes me sad when out there are also so many amazing, committed, wonderful humans who are all working to make the world a better place the challenge is not to be “woke “ to the point of stupidity but not to cast people aside because they are a little weird or rebellious.

@Parsifal ; re your post which included "... the challenge is not to be “woke “ to the point of stupidity but not to cast people aside because they are a little weird or rebellious. " I note your woke struggle in casting aside Palestinian civilians.
