Not sure we will ever find out what went on here but given your figures the hedgies must have been playing.

The puzzling thing is why they are still shorting unless they think the underwriters will be left with stock from the retail issue.

All the other parts of the issue, including the conditional placement to be voted on later this month, have been fully underwritten but more importantly placed with instos. i.e. there should be no overhang except from possibly the retail issue. We should know how the latter went in the next day or two.

But still the volume remains high at this price...odd...
