No wonder they refused to be resettled in another country or go home.
They knew if they hung out long enough there could be a huge pot of money at the end of the line due to our weak legal system and polititions ... just hang on until Labor are elected would have been the message to them.
Anything over $100k compo could set many of their family members up for life or pay to ship them out to their new home.
Then they all can apply for special assistance loans and the dole. Just a wonderful deal worth sitting and waiting for.
I will keep getting up at 4:30am to go to work and pay my taxes to help make it all happen too. What a generous bloke I am. Or is that stupid?
