It's been along time since this old favourite has had some life breathed into it and what a way to do it with a AUS$210Milliion deal with the Chinese over 7 years whihc is expected to bring in revenues ~AUS$275M for its hepB vaccine. But what can we expect next.

Scigen has a range of world-class products and vaccines. They have successfully registered these in many countries and have executed both distribution and commercialisation deals including Phillipines, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Pakistan, India, Singapore, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India. I believe they were doing same for Australia and New Zealand.

Scigen has established a wholly-owned company in Israel, "Israel (SciGen IL Ltd) to undertake manufacture of SciGen’s third generation hepatitis B vaccine Sci-B-VacTM and from one of their announcements indicated that initial production was expected around "Sept/Oct 05"

Scigen will enter the European market via their commercial agreement with leading outfit Berna Biotech.

But there is so much more. This latest announcment (and note it is a non-exclusive deal) marks the begining (imo) of a huge turnaround for a great 'little' company. And for those interested in histiry, Scigen was spun out of Sonic Health. Cheers. Pol.
