Wiik's proclamation comes amid rising concerns over the potentially serious side-effects from AstraZeneca's vaccination, which has been suspended in dozens of European countries.

She is saying that if she happened to be the one in a million that die from complications arising from the AstraZeneca jab,
she accepts that risk because overall people accepting the vaccine saves so many more lives than the one in a million lost.
