Research using announcements, newspapers, google etc is a big key to investing. Everyone inc myself has made investment mistakes, but by learning from those mistakes ~ with any luck you will make much wiser choices.

Facts are Facts. Hearsay is not a "fact" and should be treated as dubious. However as mum would say sometimes smoke really does mean "fire".

    FAS started 27/10/06 with 35,568,000 @ 0.25c
Today the current diluted shares are at around 733,600,000

The key is to look at things like the notes in reports as many things are overlooked. Things such as the 2010 annual report with loans from directors or related parties being paid back at 60% PA or in dollar terms

Loan (Mahendra Pal) $200K ~ interest paid $90,081
    Loan $100K interest paid $52,931

Nice business deal for those shareholders who paid for their shares.

Mother used to also tell me not to be mates with dubious people or else you will become one yourself.

    Business mates deal together.

Dominic Casella, William Francke, and Phillip Francke [beneficiaries of GWR shares held by Lingchip (Doutch)] have since jointly lodged a substantial shareholder notice in September 2007 indicating that they together hold 6.85 million ordinary shares, a 9.4% interest in GWR.

Dilution of shareholders value due to overpayments, gifts etc

As of 2007 a substantial shareholder of Fairstar is Catchment Holdings which holds 14.0 million shares (13.5% of Fairstar?s issued shares) as trustee on behalf of 6 parties, including Mr John Doutch (4.0 million shares).

We note that Mr John Doutch and related parties of Mr John Doutch hold significant interests in both Fairstar and GWR. There is some uncertainty over the exact number of shares and options in Fairstar and GWR which Mr John Doutch and related parties hold due to the lack of recent substantial shareholder notices for these holdings and clarification as to which parties holding shares in both Fairstar and GWR are deemed to be related to him.

A company associated with Mr John Doutch and other parties (Lingchip Pty Ltd) Lingchip holds 14.1 million GWR shares as trustee on behalf of 29 parties. Lingchip had exercised the voting rights attached to the shares as a single voting block.

The interesting thing with research is that all the shares held by Catchment, Lingchip, Any Doutch, Denarda Pty Ltd is that no money has been exchanged for those holdings. Yet regardless of the top holders notices it is actually Doutch that controls business decisions of Fairstar and much of GWR via stealth holdings. Not bad for someone who was a guest of her majesty for over 18yrs in the big houses of Fremantle, Casuarina and Kalgoorlie.

Nothing above is heresay, its fact and in announcements and newspapers.

Some of the numbers etc where taken from:
