Yep...true story...Qld Uni 1969-1971.
Aaah, they were the days when you could party for 9 months of the year...study fiendishly for one month and work in New Guinea for two months to replenish the coffers to do it all again in the following year!
FWIW, I got $1 an hour laboring, a steak was $1 and a beer 17 cents! If you had a two dollar note in your pocket you were a squillionaire!
