@Sailor FNQ; any irresponsible imbecile can hide beneath a hoodie while writing comments on a War Memorial wall, a train, the Shrine of Remembrance or even sails on The Opera House.

Until Police identify those responsible and given the composition of Canberra almost anything's possible so that calling the game early is just speculation.

As for having to 'watch my back'; I just watched a compilation of mainly video footage called 'White Noise' on SBS documenting the apparent rise of far right wing extremism throughout the western world which left me wondering about the cowardly targeting of liberated women, immigrants and Muslims [I miss out on all of those tags, albeit I'm concerned for those in the crosshairs of extremists of all kinds].
