jadel, they are used to looking like incompetent cretins. It goes with the job. Mind you, it is probably a different team selling than bought. And if copper does fall further then they will be stars. Not their fault CDU wasn't in production in 2011 or 2012 or whenever they were told.
What is a bit strange is that none of the other cornerstone investors were up for taking M&G's shares at $3 or $2.70 - I'm sure M&G would have approached them, as potentially obvious interested parties.
