It is not the director selling...read the announcement again.
It is the parent company, selling down the part of their stock which is not in escrow...now just some 4.6m shares to go.
I have discussed this with the company CEO Wes Harder and he assures me this is a seeding approach, to add liquidity to the register due to the parent company's significant holding...some short term pain for long term gain.
I fully agree however that it is being done in the most ridiculous and destructive way, with even long-term holders having stop-loss selling kicking in.
Whilst I believe the CEO, I also feel their is an added incentive here for the parent to keep a cap on the stock for short term corporate reasons...a scenario I have tested numerous times on market with expected results.
