Seeing as no one answered.
The HUI is the Gold bugs index in the US, its a collection of the top Gold producers in the US.
I actually follow the index as well as the patterns of the major stocks like GG NEM ABX etc.
Think of the HUI as the XGD virtually the same thing, US Gold stocks, Australian stocks all wrapped up into an index
