Generally speaking white nationalism has been the 'status quo' for 400 years, it's not something that has emerged recently
And yes, I am calling out nationalism, as a deluded distortion of 'values' and I don't really care what colour your skin is if you are nationalist I would always assume a certain level of ignorance.. It invokes 'ideaology' and 'values' and therefore immediately 'tags' anyone not openly displaying such as traitors, liars, cheats lefties etc etc
Historically, any group not complicit faced the full force of white repression ie economic, social, physical especially if nationalistic 'fervour' is whipped up by a skillful mouthpiece
The gradual and torturous struggle for emancipation and or freedom, for coloured America is one of the most enduring, brutal, inspirational and in a lot of ways, ongoing narratives of our times

Cowardly Individuals like Trump who have never struggled, never battled, never fought, never suffered, never lost everything, never faced a life with no hope and yet call on people to 'fight' are a cruel hoax on the people they are inciting whether they be black white or otherwise because people like Trump will never ever be there on the front line in battle or in life
He is a sick deluded narcissistic nationalist and to see this man publicly calling out and naming the 'traitors' in Republican party invokes Hitler's purges and invokes the kind of fake tough guy persona the likes of which Teddy Roosevelt cultivated with his 'Rancher' photo shoots designed to portray a 'hard edged American patriot at work'
The white nationalism of history is never far away it just lies dormant waiting for the critical mass of ignorance and intolerance to build and a mouth piece to come along and tell them how 'hard done by' they are... That mouth piece and that wailing banshee is Trump
If you want to bury your head in the sand and believe that nationalism does not lead to far right extremism, then I am afraid you need to overhaul your thinking because it always has and it always will ... period
