It is not just one individual.. it is a movement and it feeds on passive nationalism and the collective silence and acceptance of people whose self interest blinds them to what is happening right in front of their eyes and perhaps even in their own minds

Exactly there was no passive nationalism then and your passive nationalism is as much a load of bull#### now as it was then
