    you may be correct SLOGGER, however, be that as it may, is it ASICs responsibility to check number of shorts? Or is it more their responsibility to flag abnormally large volume and $$ value trades on a daily basis? All they will ask for is the usual:

    "Is the Company aware of any information concerning it that has not been announced which, if known, could be an explanation for recent trading in the securities of the Company?"

    blah blah
