so, now more experts in the field shooting down Duttons timing on nuclear

Duttos mission impossible timeframe - objective one - not doable

    IMPOSSIBLE

''University of Sydney School of Project Management associate Professor Petr Matous said.
"It's basically impossible to do before 2040.''

    and another one

''Professor Lowe does not believe it will be politically or financially feasible to construct seven nuclear reactors before 2040.
"I'd be prepared to gamble large amounts of money that we won't see nuclear power stations in Australia in my lifetime."
"So we could only have a nuclear power station within 13 years if we were to emulate countries like China, perhaps the United Arab Emirates, where the community aren't involved, where there is no prospect of the community objecting — and I can't imagine how that would be politically defensible in Australia."

So an impossible mission - which has opened up Australian politics for Albanese to stroll in through a big wide open door

We've seen that some are saying that the Duddo is clear that he can't win the next election gig, so he's going for 2028 etc.

It's a most likely bet that now Albo will get a second term, it's unlikely that Duddos Great Big Nuke idea will swing voters to give him he gig.

IF, and let's imagine for a moment that the above is true - if Albanese is confident of the above - and is confident of a second term ---

then, the game has changed - thanks to Duddo's strategy.

Just think for a moment what Dutton has done here for Albanese ---- forget what Duddo has done for the Liberals - think about this

Dutton has fully, open throttle, full noise, pedal to the metal --------

    legitimised 'BIG'

    with gusto

Think what this means to Albanese. The skipper, the leader, the man who told his party - time and time again - as close as we can, we do NOTHING more than we promised that we said we'd do.

And, he's tried pretty well there IMO. - But the point is - that Dutton has now let the dog off the chain

Dutto has let the 'go big' dog out, let loose the chain and Duddo can't go and attack Albo for -

    going big
    going debt
    going big government
    going government ownership
going centralised control (if Albo wants it)
    going radical
    going wild
    overturning old ideas

So, for those of us who carry on about Albo's got a plan --------------- well, maybe Albo does have a plan, maybe Albo had a plan all the time - Leaders often do and they take a term or so to cement in quietly as possible before they pull the trigger -

and if Albo DOES have a plan - and a BIG plan ----------- then Dutton has just kicked the door wide open for Albanese and said --------- come on through Albo, I just cannot stand in your way now.

Whilst the hoo-ha about nuclear is about nuclear and a bit about renewables

IMO - the really big news is nothing to do with electricity ----- it's about legitimisation
