If the adult results are even more accurate it would be miraculous. Maybe its possible given the machine learning ever improving algorithm. However, I think it's reasonable to expect that the adult results might be somewhat less accurate. After all, the condition of the adult patient would become more complicated with age. Previous illnesses could leave permanent damage. Ex-smokers, for instance, like myself, may carry the scars of their years of smoke inhalation in their lungs. Or industrial disease from dust inahalation. Or repeated bouts of bronchitis. I'm no doctor but I have read that one in twenty Australians aged 55 and older suffer from COPD. Suppose you get pneumonia on top of that? It must surely be more complex for the ResApp to diagnose?
So I am thinking it's possible the adult results may be in the order of only 75-85% accurate, and that this would be not a disappointment, but an outstanding result.
