I had the pleasure of visiting the Hemerdon project in the early 1980's when it was being developed by AMAX Inc. Tungsten and tin prices were high at the time and it looked like the mine would go ahead. Now nearly 30 years tungsten prices are high again and the project might finally come to fruition. The tungsten and tin minerals occur in a vein swarm similar to Mt Carbine, Qld and this causes the overall grade to be low compared to Molyhill. However the resource tonnage is large. There are other tungsten deposits in Cornwall, UK which might now be looked at again.
