The way the article is written poses a few questions about the authors degree of research..

Im not saying he does or doesnt know about these entities (Seeking Alpha write some pretty good articles no doubt about it).. But the writing makes it look like:

Here is Kodiak - they have risen x% in x weeks could pull cap raising rug from under your feet

Here is SSN - they have risen x% in x weeks could pull cap raising rug from under your feet

ONE AFTER THE OTHER is what i am getting at...

Also

1) the report that they refer to..when was it done and what was the market cap of SSN back then, thats probably the safer comparison..
2) if i could find another company that could employ 7 people and have JV's like this, share price growth like this, id invest in it.. plain and simple..
