I don't recall any cost overruns for a Nuclear plant in Australia, because we haven't built one yet.
When we do build one (its coming) the cost overruns will be worth it compared to Snowy 2.0 overruns, because a nuclear plant will provide cheap 24/7 dispatachable baseload power for 60 years.
The way Snowy 2.0 is progressing, we will have several nuclear plants in Australia, up and running before Snowy is complete.
