The Govt has done a deal with Sky City. The Govt will grant Sky City a heap of gaming machine licences in return for Sky City to build a Convention Centre. A few years to go yet but it would be nice for AGI to get a piece of the pie.
Don't worry about the Green Party - they protest every which way and for them to gain control of the Treasury benches is about as likely as winning a a dozen jackpots in a row.
