Recent Exploration Confirms Large Mineralized System
Located East of Salman
The Directors of Adamus Resources are pleased to announce that regional
exploration has defined a large gold in soil anomaly located 10km to the east of the
Salman Deposit. The new prospect, known as Avrebo, has recently been the
subject of several soil sampling campaigns, which have now defined a +100ppb
gold anomaly which extends over a combined strike length of 6 kilometres
(see attached map).
The Avrebo prospect is the largest gold anomaly discovered to date outside
the Salman Trend with an average width of approximately 300m, extending over a
combined strike length of 6km. Despite being sampled on relatively broad spacings,
the anomaly has already produced significant high grade results including 26
samples returning assays of over 500ppb gold.
The new prospect is hosted within meta-volcanics situated on the eastern side of
the belt margin. To date very little exploration has been conducted within the metavolcanics,
with historical soil sampling only covering a very small percentage of
mafic unit.
Following the completion of the infill soil sampling, the Company has commenced a
comprehensive trenching program, targeting several areas of the broader anomaly.
Results from the trenching program are expected over the coming weeks.
Detailed information on all aspects of the Southern Ashanti Gold Project can be
found on the Company’s comprehensive website www.adamusresources.com.au.
