Yes, good on you Manf for confirming that article ...that some of us old timer top 20 shareholders of EEG have known for quite a long time now.

When the announcement is finally made regarding fracking in New York State, it will be done on a town by town basis, just as it is in other parts of the USA ...evenin in adjoining States ...with strict environmental guidelines and controls.

So far in over 60yrs of fracking in the USA there has not been any hard facts put forward to show any pollution of any ground water or surface water supplies.

Hopefully that announcement will be made this coming Monday (USA Labor Day time) or our Tuesday early morning Australian time), by Governor Cuomo.

The US President Obama is all for fracking and so is NY Mayor Bloomberg. The Republicans like the idea and a good many Democrats are warming to the idea, to get the USA out the economic slippery hole it is in at present.

It's inevitable, really ...and a whole lot better alternative to their current toxic coal burning, etc,.
