    Not sure that I agree that the increase in global milk commodity prices last night is "good news" as far as A2 shareholders are concerned. Firstly, the company pays farmers a premium for A2 milk which is on top of the base price paid by the likes of Fonterra, Goulburn etc, so it adds to a2MC's input costs. And more importantly, the tighter and longer the squeeze on dairy farmers worldwide, whether they be in NZ, Australia, the US or the EU, the more they will be interested in switching to A2 to earn premiums. The present tough spot that world dairy farmers are in is actually a commercial opportunity for a2MC. The company needs to take advantage of it while it lasts. Mind you, last night's rise in the dairy index doesn't mean farmers' problems are over. The qanalysts all seem to agree that the world dairy glut has while to run yet, due to factors such as low oil prices (meaning cheap grain for non-grassfed dairy farms) and Russia's withdrawal as a dairy buyer.
