As one who lives in the northern zone, bleaching in the last two years is perfectly understandable. Still air and cloudless skies caused by el nino would of cause cause a temp rise in shallow water and lagoons. There have been no cyclones, even small ones, which will cause damage in the areas most affected but cover large areas with cloud and cooling rain. Weather is not two dimentional.
