No argument with your posted link, but your comment on Irukandji Jelly Fish, while possible, is most unlikely. These are the type of scaremongering lies and half truths being put about that are causing angst and open distress among tourists and having unnecessary restrictions placed on tourist operators. The hysteria caused by malicious ignorant comments are costing us millions of dollars in regulation and lost tourist dollars. A classic example is the dredging of the Trinity Inlet in Cairns, for now over a 100 years dredging's have been placed to the North of the channel mouth to be dispersed harmlessly along the coast, NOTHING gets washed out to the GBR which is over 30 klm out to the East, now because of Green Lies and fear mongering all dredging's must now be placed on land at an enormous cost . These same Green Advocates totally ignore the natural run off that occurs every year that make the Dredging's miniscule in comparison. Coral bleaching has always occurred in dry years for obvious reasons and always has come back in wetter cloudier years.
