The phillipines withrawing a month earlier won't make the slightest difference to terrorism in Iraq..... its heading for civil war from what I see. US media report have dropped off but not so the bombings. Why?
Wouldn't you just think the Phillipines are a bit overstretched .... they have more than enough problems at home but also just so many exposed workers in that hell hole for starters. Basically a sensible decision that may allow them to regroup their efforts against this enemy. Lord Downer of Bagdad and our National Wedgie can say all they like but the Phillipines is infact where we should be doing more .... not in Iraq.
