SHIELD was extremely important, stockpiles are used to prevent spread not treat.

You treat the infected person and all contacts to short circuit the spread of the disease.

You quarintine everyone who is exposed to stop the spread as well but some staff need to continue working i.e. healthcare workers and they get treated as well even if they are assymptomatic.

I.E. The drug needs to act as prophylaxis.

Hopefully they have continued the trial and given the current severity of the flu season would be able to get some positive results so that they can get this indication as well.

DS seem to be more interested in their cardiovascular drugs then LANI though.
