My comments are not just logical its legal fact.
I have had a similar experience as Mopon except I was driving and it was my fault.
I stuffed the collectors around for 18 mths payed near on nothing and in between it didn't affect my rating(I went for a loan and got it).
My brother isn't a lawyer but he studied law and we had this exact same discussion about debt collectors about 6 mths ago-he wasn't telling me anything new though.
Your wrong Magoo and I think you know it-next time you post something that is derogatory make sure you get your facts right.
