The complicity of the media is indisputable. The fourth estate has forgotten its purpose reduced to fabricating infomercials. The few independent media platforms, the fifth estate, that actually pursue objectivity are immediately dismissed or derided as outliers. Shoot the messenger is very much alive. Reporting blatant falsehoods without question seeks to cement the lie as truth especially if repeated often enough.
