I don't align with any political party on an ideological basis, however my swinging vote will mostly go against a dominant party to attempt to neutralise narcissism and self indulgence. This ensures that the dominant party looses votes and will be on guard, and the lesser party can see an opportunity for relevance in parliament.
My view is that both sides of our 2 party system, and some independents, have really good solid performers, if they were allowed to merge, or at least have their own views expressed rather than that of the party machine we'd probably have a great parliament rather than a mediocre one.
The disappointing part on this thread more people are interested in commenting on the individual rather than the party or our system of politics that creates division. Malcolm was not the only person in the room!
