I dunt believe that's a payback as well. The story of Tibet worrior is about 1200 years ago, and it's a very small story in China's history. But should be a big story in Tibet's history actually, that makes Tibetan recognise China and belong to China. Because U know that poor conditions of Tibet, Chinese central govermnet actually didn't have much inetrest in such a land, since they can't live in and Tibetan is very poor actually, but Tibetan actually likes such a links to China but actually without much restrict from Chinese.

To Communist to liberate Tibet, mainly due to the Big conflict between Monk noble classes and poor slave class, actaully it's poor tibetan expelled those monks and nobles and shared their properties. Even today I believe that most tibetan still like this status, only those monks and nobles inside or outside China are making trouble there to gain their past positions back and chaeting passion and money, donnations anywhere.
